lg_versa_game_controllerRemember how LG and Verizon promised to release new add-ons for the modular LG Versa? Well, consider their promise fulfilled. As expected, Verizon has made available the LG Versa Game Pad module to all you LG Versa owners and future owners. Thankfully, the Versa Game Pad doesn’t come with an awkward wallet-esque case, like the kind we see with the Versa’s QWERTY keyboard module. The Game Pad clips onto the Versa’s backside and slides out to reveal some decent dedicated gaming controls.

Slide out the game pad and you’re treated to a directional pad, “start” and “select” buttons, and a set of four gaming buttons. Verizon is asking $29.99 to turn your LG Versa into a true gaming handset. Now, we just have to wait for that GPS navigation module and those stereo speaker add-ons..
