Are you a BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Storm user that wishes you could lock your device just like the iPhone? You know, the ’slide to unlock’ screen that keeps your device safe from random touches? Now, thanks to StormSlider from David Grant, you can get that same type of functionality right on your BlackBerry Storm.

Many options are built into the app. You can have your Storm lock once the screen fades out, when the phone restarts, or even when you’re on the phone. There’s also a handy option to enter a 4 digit password to complete the unlock. This is a nice added level of security, heck, anyone can slide a finger across the screen, right? The app also works in both landscape and portrait mode, so no matter which way you’ve got the device sitting, you’ll be clearly presented with the unlock screen.

For more information or to pick it up for $2.99, you can hit up the MobiHand Store.
