Samsung Smooth Brings Flippy Simplicity and GPS to Verizon

The Samsung U350 passed the FCC back in January, but just took its sweet time getting to Verizon (NYSE: VZ), where it was christened with the model name “Smooth”. Not much stranger than the BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) “Curve”, I guess. It’s a bit of a yawner at first glance, but not bad at all for an entry level phone.
- VGA Camera with Night Shot
- Speakerphone
- Bluetooth Enabled for Wireless Headset Support
- VZ Navigator with turn–by–turn directions
- Chaperone Parent/Child
- Games, Ringtones, and Wallpaper
- Mobile Email
- Mobile Web
Available for a scant $30 on contract at Verizon, and don’t forget, VZ Navigator will run you an extra $9.99/month.
