
Verizon Wireless is preparing to boost its already pretty strong entry-level phone offering with another device. We’re talking about the candybar-shaped LG VX7100 aka Glance, which boasts such specs as 2-inch QVGA screen, 1.3 megapixel camera, Bluetooth, and support for various VCast services such as Music with Rhapsody, games and VZ Navigator. Lack of 3G (EV-DO) data could be a deal-breaker for some other handset, but not for Glance — Verizon will most likely position it under the VX8360, and in that sense I doubt its buyers need to use Internet services that often.
As for the size, the LG VX7100 is a super-thin device, measuring 4.31×1.87×0.38 inches with a weight of 2.92 oz (with the battery). Release date and pricing are unknown at this stage…
