The WatchOut! is a strange application. You can almost think of it as a registered sex offenders finder, as it can point out where they live based on location or specific name.
See where’s the “strange” part coming from? It’s like having a “registered sex offender nearby” feature, which is, you gotta admit hilarious. Of course, the idea is to keep members of your family and friends safe, by telling them where these individuals could be found, so they avoid these places. On a similar note, WatchOut! is a great tool for those planning to move to a new area, or for those active on a dating scene…
The application is not free — it costs 2 bucks — and 10% of profits will go to the Domestic Violence Crisis Center, which is a great cause and a neat PR move, I might add.
