Virgin Trains lights up more trains with WiFi

According to Electricpig.co.uk, Virgin Trains has now added WiFi to all it’s “Pendolino” trains – wow, good work!
Unfortunately it ain’t free (when will service operators get that Internet Access should be complimentary, it’s a utility!), and costs £5 for 60 minutes unless you be in First Class. You can also get a 24hr pass for £10 in case you’ve got more browsing/typing/working than 60 mins can cover. Oh, there’s also a 12-month option at an (IMHO) eye-watering 240 squid.
Well, I suppose if you are a business person and can expense these things, then mobile working suddenly became a lot more convenient – trying to get mobile signal on many train routes is like trying to suck a golfball through a hosepipe – very difficult indeed!
