VZ Navigator Global on BlackBerry Storm

Verizon (NYSE: VZ) Wireless is out with an updated version of its navigation service, VZ Navigator. The so called VZ Navigator global provides users with the ability to find locations and access turn-by-turn directions in North America and Western Europe. Among the countries supported are Canada, Mexico, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the United Kingdom — with additional countries scheduled to be added throughout the year.

Initially the service/application is available for BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) Storm 9530 smartphone, but other devices will get supported in the near future, as well. Users can choose either English or Spanish as the default language, and miles or kilometers to mark distances.

As for the pricing, VZ Navigator Global is available for $19.99 per month, which includes global and domestic use.
