Boy this was a long wait. After talking about it on and on, AT&T (NYSE: T) has finally started offering Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s sexy smartphone – E71x. All of the features a modern business person needs are on board — including a full QWERTY keyboard, GPS, WiFi, HSDPA, 3.2 megapixel camera, Bluetooth. Symbian S60 3.2 is running the show, ensuring you can further enhance this baby with third-party apps. At just $100 on a contract, we’re talking about a steal here. Once you start using the E71x, you’ll fall in love with it. Trust me.

E71x – $99.99 + ($30/month*24) = $820 total cost of ownership over mandatory contract.
Unlocked E71-2 – $320 + ($15/month*24) = $680 total cost of ownership over optional contract.
If you’re on a family plan and can take advantage of the $10/month unlimited data, total cost goes down to $560.
Just some things to think about before getting all excited over a subsidized price.
