‘myWireless Mobile’ iPhone App Debuts from AT&T

Let’s say you’re the exclusive carrier for the iPhone in the US. Lets also say that the App Store is newly opened, and millions of folks nationwide are purchasing and using the new touchscreen device. What do you do? You’d develop your own app, wouldn’t you? That’s what one would think. I’ve always wondered why AT&T (NYSE: T) hasn’t had their own iPhone app… until now.

‘myWireless Mobile’ has hit the App Store, and the new App from AT&T is a freebie. The app was developed to help iPhone users (AT&T customers) manage family and individual accounts directly from their device. It’s basically a mobile version of the account management tool AT&T myWireless.

Key features:

• Bill and Pay – View monthly bill in full and make one-touch payments (you can also view last payment amount and date, current balance and due date, and full bill in PDF format)
• Voice and Data Usage – View all voice and data usage, including text messages
• Features – Browse and manage bolt-on features, including new texting plans and more
