htc android netbook T Mobile and HTC working on Android netbook?Wow, we’re really seeing a flutter of Android netbook rumors hitting the scene today. In addition to the allegedly accidental press release that had PC-maker Dell developing their own Android netbook, another rumor points to smartphone manufacturer HTC teaming up with T-Mobile (NYSE: DT) on a netbook device powered by Google (NSDQ: GOOG)’s lightweight operating system. We’re slim on details, but TmoToday is reporting on an anonymous tip that has HTC developing an Android netbook with integrated 3G wireless connectivity.

HTC has some experience with netbook-like devices. The HTC Advantage and HTC Shift were both super-small computing devices that sought to make mobile computing as portable as possible. The HTC Shift was a dual-booting device with Windows Vista or Windows Mobile on tap. The HTC Advantage was Windows Mobile only, but offered a unique form-factor that never quite caught on.
