So another Location Aware Social Network...
I've downloaded and carefully read the white paper discussing the system "Friendlee: A Mobile Application for Your Social Life". Basically I found more of the same. They define very well what social networks are about, The design and implementation. What I didn't found there is how are they going to make money from this.

I've listed almost 100 Location Based Social Networks (see http://bdnooz.com/lbsn-location-based-social-networking-links/ )in my blog and I still wonder who is going to pay the bills.

May be they will charge Blackberry as an enhancement included in the phone?

What is most worrying is what are they going to do with the data. The implementation has a "... backend server that stores a centralized copy of all user information... with up-to-date information about the user's call history and context information about the users such as location, phone status..." Not a Big Brother but a BIG Stalker Brother...
