Yowza! iPhone app

Actor Greg Grunberg, whom you may know as Heroes’ mind reader Matt Parkman, has created an iPhone app called Yowza! to allow users to find coupons for stores in their neighborhood.

Users can search for coupons either by entering city name or zip code, or use nearby functionality which relies on iPhone’s location-based features (GPS or cellular triangulation). Once you find a coupon that suits you, you can easily retrieve it at the store’s register — cashier scans barcodes right off your device. New deals and stores are constantly added, and there are some deals negotiated specifically for Yowza! users.

Finally, it’s worth mentioning that the application also has a feature that tracks how much you’ve saved, which is neat. ;)
