Adidas Urban Art Guide to Berlin highlights German capital’s street art

Everyone and their mama are going iPhone. Latest on the list is Adidas, which wants some good PR, while providing users with a cool service. Their (or their marketing agency’s) idea is to provide users with a guide to Berlin’s street art, hence the name of the app – Adidas Urban Art Guide to Berlin.
The application shows locations of urban art masterpieces on a Google (NSDQ: GOOG) Map, and allows users to either search for a nearby art work, or follow the “Tour guide.” Alternatively, if you hate walking, you can always browse all the art through “Gallery” feature, where you can also get details about each of the works presented.
But Adidas Urban Art Guide to Berlin doesn’t stop there. As expected, the social element is included in the package. This means that you can rate each of the master pieces, share your comments with the world, and/or upload your own snaps of new art.
Berlin is a pilot city for Adidas’ project, but if proves successful (i.e. many users download it), I’ve no doubts they’ll release similar guides for other cities, as well.
