Sidekick fans, this one’s for you. The much-anticipated Sidekick LX is now available in all its 3G glory through T-Mobile (NYSE: DT). We’ve seen the “unboxing in the wild” photos already, so I guess you know what to expect.
The price you ask? T-Mobile sells the unit for $249.99 after a $50 mail-in rebate, and requires putting your signature on a new two-year contract. That money will get your the slimmest Sidekick so far, along with larger 3.2-inch screen and a 3.2 megapixel camera with flash and video capturing capability.
Two color options are available – carbon and orchid, both of which look cool. T-Mobile’s website is the place to get additional details.

I’ve had the phone for about 3 weeks now and I have one major complaint. I am starting to develop some serious pain in my right hand due to the stiff keys. One has to push much harder on the keys then before and the pain is the result. I will probably end up selling the phone and getting something else, its a shame because I’ve had sidekick’s since its inception. Anyone else having similar issue?
