Funambol

Funambol, the folks behind the popular open source push-email solution, announced what they say is the world’s first Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) mobile cloud sync and push-email solution. So in addition to providing users with the software, they are now also offering their solution as a service.

The so called “Hosted Funambol” is designed to be quickly and easily deployed by such companies as mobile operators, handset manufacturers, portals, service providers and software vendors — to allow them to offer push-email and synchronization features to their clients. In that sense, the solution is completely brandable, customizable, and easy to integrate with existing customer systems.

As with Funambol’s other (non-hosted) offering, this one is also completely secure, employing state-of-the-art security to protect end user data… More information is available from Funambol’s website.
