Apple mulls over buying EA?

Maybe. It’s a difficult one to call as it goes, because apart from the fact that Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) must be one of the most rumour-covered companies in the world, it was also recently suggesting they might be setting their sights on Twitter. But would EA make a better buy?

Well one thing is for sure – they ain’t doing too well at the moment – they have just nailed a Q4 loss of $42m, so that’s not a rosy picture. Like with all things, we can speculate until the cows come home about what might happen, but in this case, I think it might just be better to sit back and give it a few months – Apple will show their hand when they are good and ready, as we’ve seen many times before!
