India: Sistema Shyam aiming for 40m subs…

Total Telecom has a story about new Indian Operator Sistema Shyam, and the fact they are aiming for 40m subs in the next 3-5 years – despite only having 500k subs today!
Anywhere else you might think this was an ambitious set of numbers, but actually for India the figure might actually be a bit reserved – looking at Bharti Airtel, they have about 100m subs if memory serves – so it’s not entirely unrealistic to aim for 40m subs, assuming of course they can roll out the network to cover the right population catchments…
