Chicago 2016 Olympic bid gets an iPhone app

Chicago 2016 is out with a dedicated iPhone application, displaying a countdown to the Host City decision by the International Olympic Committee, which will be announced on October 2nd in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Each day, the free application provides a fun fact about Chicago’s bid for the 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Olympic Movement or Olympic sports trivia…
This is yet another smart move from the folks behind Chicago’s Olympic team, which already utilize other popular services such as YouTube, Twitter and Facebook to promote the city’s bid to host the 2016 Olympic games. Good luck!
