Comic Shop Locator app helps you do just that on your iPhone, iPod Touch

Here’s a neat iPhone app for comic book fans. It’s simply called Comic Shop Locator and it allows users to, guess, find local comic book stores in their area. You can search either by entering a zip code or postal address, or rely on iPhone’s location capabilities (i.e. cellular triangulation and GPS) to get a list of nearby stores.
Comic Shop Locator is a free app and could certainly save you some time when travelling and going for the “coming book hunt.” The data used is from Diamond Comic Distributors and Comic Shop Locator Service website… Here’s a link to the AppStore.

The Diamond Comic Shop Locator Service does not list EVERY comic shop there is. Comic shop owners have to pay Diamond to be listed, and those who don’t pay, don’t get listed.
