Here’s something I haven’t seen yet. Palm Pre advertising… on a race car! Reader PapaRock sent this in to us, and while I can’t verify if this is a photoshop jobby, it sure does look real. In fact, I’d highly doubt this is a photoshop, considering the picture comes direct from the official IndyCar website. The photo above is of driver Raphael Matos in his Honda-powered IndyCar. Notice the ‘Palm (NSDQ: PALM) Pre’ badging underneath the ‘McAfee’ advert. Nice.
Palm has been busy ramping up the marketing and PR for the Pre, and while I’m sure we’re all a little frustrated with the sketchy and changing release rumors over the past few months… At least we know Palm is very actively pushing the Pre name. The Pre will come… It’s coming June 16th… Maybe

Nascar is showing 2 giant “Palm Pre” for the Pre Race Driver Introductions show on the stage on the speed channel…All Star Race. Used the phones as giant screens. I filmed it if you cant find it.
