Customizing and ordering a new pair of shoes online has been around for a long time now. You can do it easily on the Nike website, and speaking from experience (for all the golfers out there), FootJoy has an awesome little golf shoe customization web app called ‘MyJoys‘ that lets you tailor your next pair of shoes to your liking.
Now, it looks like the folks at Reebok have taken things to the next level. They’ve just become the first shoe manufacturer to offer a shoe customization app for the iPhone! Together with the folks at Inside Mobile and Agency Mobile, the new ‘Your Reebok’ app allows you to customize your next pair of kicks, and place an order online.
At the moment, the app is only available in the US and UK, but plans are in the works to expand the release to Germany, France, Belgium, Holland, Austria and Ireland. Unfortunately, as I sit here up in Canada… the app is not available. To find it in the App Store simply type ‘Your Reebok’ into the search field and you should be off to the races (providing you’re in the US or UK). Enjoy!
