UPC Nederland is set to stop operating as a virtual mobile network operator in Holland on June 30th. About 40,000 customers of their pre-paid service will be affected, which will be transferred to T-Mobile on the next day.
The withdrawal from the market as an MNVO was sparked by the integration of the former Orange network into T-Mobile. UPC said they will keep its options open for future launches of mobile products and services.
For the record, UPC Nederland had over 100,000 users at its height.
