
It was back in September of last year when we first saw Documents To Go announcing support for the Apple iPhone. Things are moving closer to launch, as the company unveiled (via Twitter) that they have submitted their mobile office suite for the AppStore approval, meaning that the ball is in the Apple’s court now.
We’ve no inside information how Documents To Go for iPhone will look like, but considering how Quickoffice works — you don’t need iPhone 3.0 software in order to Copy/Paste in their documents or spreadsheet app, for instance — they’ll have to rock in order to grab some thunder from their fierce competitor. Moreover, Documents To Go will have to sell its app for less than 20 bucks ($19.99), which is Quickoffice’s current price in the AppStore. Waiting and seeing (testing) is all we can do at this stage…
