First Sony Ericsson Android Phone to Run OS 2.0

We had heard that Sony Ericsson was going to get on the Android bandwagon, but at a recent event,VP of Marketing, Peter Ang, said that the their Android handset would be coming out soon with version 2 of Android, along with their own personal tweaks. Cupcake was considered version 1.5 of Google’s mobile operating system, but details of OS 2.0 (a.k.a Donut) are still pretty skimpy. Regardless of the features, you can expect Sony Ericsson to go to town on the user interface, with just as much customization as the Xperia. Speaking of which, SE confirmed that they’ll still be continuing their work on Windows Mobile along with Android. Will the struggling company be spreading itself too thin if it wants to adequately support three platforms? I guess we’ll see…
