NYC Transit App for BlackBerry from Applico

Applico has recently released the NYC Transit Application for BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM). With it, you can check multiple schedules, including those for the New York waterways, Metro North Trains, New Jersey Transit busses and New Jersey Transit trains. No network connection is needed to access the schedules, because they’re downloaded locally to your Berry when you install. Very handy, especially if you’re underground in the subway with little to no network reception. Version updates will keep you up-to-date with new schedules and routes. The app will also remember your last travelled route.

To install on your BlackBerry, hit up www.getnyctransit.com from your Berry’s browser… or simply do a quick search in App World. You’ll find it.
