To anyone who reads ebooks, reads their feeds or the newspaper on a device should find this natural, shouldn't they? To extend it to reading and even answering emails seems obvious to me, no? Sometimes I'll twitter some things I did that day, others I'll play a game and have my legs go numb as I tend to lose track of time while playing.
