Snapplife launches in the UK with Carphone Warehouse

A brand new rich media application is launching in the UK, with the Carphone Warehouse as exclusive European Distributor – its name? – Snapplife!
The App is going to be available on Series 60 and WinMo handsets, and will aggregate a number of content feeds, such as Sky News, Twitter, and others (see pic above). The App will also be able to link to other native apps on the device – a major upside, since not quite everything usually resides in one App (well not in my experience anyways!)
Developers can also get in on the action early, being able to design Apps for Snapplife, which will then be made available for purchase – to do that, you’ve got to check out the website of SnappLifes creator, Hiplogic, here.
If you fancy getting in on some of the action with Snapplife, then you have a number of options:
- Go to a Carphone Warehouse store and sign up
- Go online to http://www.snapplife.com
- Text ’snapp’ to 64246
Personally I think it looks pretty good – now I just need to find a Series60 or WinMo device to try it on!
