Sprint launches eco-friendly accessories

Like many other companies, Sprint (NYSE: S) knows the power of “green.” That said, they’ve recently launched new eco-friendly accessories, including the SOLIO Mono solar-powered charger and two new Nite Ize mobile phone carrying cases made from 100% recycled plastic water bottles.
We’ve already talked about the SOLIO Mono Hybrid Charger, so I’ll just quickly recap the main point — it uses the power of the Sun for recharging a mobile device and is hence better suited for sunny areas like California and Florida. As for the pricing, Sprint is selling the device for $59.99, excluding taxes.
On the other hand, there’s not much to say about the cases. I can only say they cost $19.99 each, and are available in two colors and sizes: large in sage green and small in rust.
Additional information about Sprint’s accessories is available from a dedicated page on their website. Likewise, they have a special sub-section of the site which talks about the carrier’s green initiatives…
