TELUS Unveils Samsung ‘Renaissance’ R540

Another lower-end, affordable device has been launched by TELUS today as well. The Samsung ‘Renaissance’ R540 is now available on the Canadian carrier from $49.99 (3-year contract). If you’d rather setup a 2-year contract it will run you $149.99, 1-year is $199.99 and to purchase outright the device will cost $249.99.

The Samsung ‘Renaissance’ R540 features 2 displays… an external 1″ display and internal 2.1″ display. You’ll also find a 1.3 MP camera with zoom, speakerphone and stereo Bluetooth. The device is expandable up to 8GB via microSD, and there are some handy music controls on the exterior of the device to aid in listening to music when you’re at the gym or simply out and about.
