WordPress App Coming to BlackBerry

So, for a guy who plays on his BlackBerry (NSDQ: RIMM) and blogs all day long, this is exciting news. WordPress head honcho Matt Mullenweg has confirmed that a BlackBerry application is in the works. Details beyond that are slim, but it’s probably safe to assume it will offer functions similar to the iPhone app. There’s currently an add-on that provides a mobile-friendly web interface, but it’s really not that clean or fun to use – a dedicated, official BlackBerry app will help a ton with stuff like liveblogging and quick edits, plus the BlackBerry keyboard is built for writing; it’s not hard to imagine pumping out full drafts while on the go with one.

And you’ll have copy paste right out of the box! No copy paste for me on my Wordpress iPhone app yet…
Hi,
I’ve built a Wordpress Editor for Blackberry. I’m putting the finishing touches on it right now, and it should be published in BB App World in about 2 weeks. To get an idea of how it works, check out this video – http://screamingtoaster.com/?p=234.
Let me know if you are interested in a beta copy of it.
Thanks,
Nazmul
