Nokia has recently unveiled the Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-905, a high-end headset which comes with active noise cancellation using the novel active noise cancellation technology from Wolfson Microelectronics.
The trick is in using multiple microphones to ensure pure sound without ambient noise. As a matter of fact, the Nokia BH-905 comes with a total of 10 microphones, with 8 of them being used for cancelling noise and 2 for capturing speech.
Rest of the features include a dedicated multifunction key for call management, music and volume controls, and a switch for activating the active noise cancellation. The headset can be connected to any Bluetooth-supporting device, as well as using the wired connection with standard 3.5mm and 6.3mm (home stereo) jacks.
And now the price. You should know that all this noise-cancelling mambo-jamb costs a fortune. The Nokia Bluetooth Stereo Headset BH-905 will be available globally starting August 2009, when interested users will be able to grab for the estimated retail price of 285 EUR, before taxes and subsidies.
