iPhone as motorcycle instrument cluster!

While the iPhone can’t claim to slice and dice blocks of cheese, the iPhone has “converged” an aruably more useful technology – a motorcycle instrument cluster. The all-electric MotoCzysz E1pc that you see pictured here uses the iPhone as its instrument cluster, replacing traditional instrumentation altogether.
The electric super-bike can zip to 120MPH in under 9 seconds. That means, by the
time your car is putt-putting around at about 65MPH, this bike has already been breaking the law for a few seconds.
The MotoCzysc E1pc motorcycle connects with the iPhone through USB, but it’s unclear if custom software is being used or if the MotoCzysc E1pc team is just using already-available iPhone apps that can track speed and acceleration using the iPhone’s accelerometers.
Custom software or not, big props to boffins working on the MotoCzysc E1pc for integrating an iPhone into the bike’s design.
