Verizon’s Motorola A455 Rival Shows Up Live

The Motorola (NYSE: MOT) Rival A455 that poked out its head early last month may be hitting Verizon (NYSE: VZ) stores as early as tomorrow in purple and white. Here’s a quick referesher on the specs:
- Dual band CDMA connectivity (800/1900 MHz) with 1X/EV-DO
- Stereo Bluetooth
- VZ Navigator support (so it has GPS?)
- 3.5mm headset jack
- MP3 player
- E-mail, Instant Messaging
- USB 2.0
- 2MP camera with video recording
- MicroSD/SDHC card support
- 97 x 51 x 18 mm
- 125 grams
We don’t expect the price point to break the bank; even with 3G, A2DP and GPS, it will likely be a nice, cheap phone for avid texters.
