Symbian Foundation developers siteSymbian Foundation has recently opened its developer’s website to the wider audience. Previously, the site was running in an invite-only beta stage, but now everyone can access it.

According to the post on Symbian Foundation’s blog, the site is far from finished, but they believe it’s ready to enter a public beta state.

The first thing you’ll see at the site is a registration screen. If you were part of the invitation-only beta, you can use the existing account to enter. Otherwise, click on the “Register” button and take it from there.

And “there” you’ll find out that “Symbian needs you!” The site offers code, bug-tracking, reference documentation, a wiki and forums; and it’s up to you as a Symbian developer (let’s presume you are) to contribute and help the platform grow.

There are plenty of changes to come, with some of them already being in the pipeline of intended upgrades. Others should come as a surprise to the Symbian Foundation, as members are expected to send feedback and participate in the site creation.
