GetJar provides Virgin Mobile’s Application Store in France

GetJar (who I have written about a number of times) has been tapped by Virgin Mobile France to provide it’s whole catalogue of (free) mobile apps for Virgin’s app store, which is launching this week. There will apparently be 45,000 free apps, according to Cellular News.
Obviously great news for GetJar, as they’ve been doing some sterling work in the app space for a while now – but also good news for subs on the Virgin France (MVNO) network – apps is where it’s at baby!
