ShoZu is no longer free in app stores

The popular media sharing app/service, ShoZu, has informed us of the important change they made recently. The application will no longer be free, at least not for new users who download the application through app stores such as Apple (NSDQ: AAPL)’s AppStore and Nokia (NYSE: NOK)’s Ovi Store. New users will have to pay 5 bucks ($4.99) in order to grab the app.
However, it is important to add that ShoZu’s service will remain free in four ways: from being able to upload photos and video via MMS; mobile email, PC and Mac Desktop applications, and any PC or Mac email client or webmail service.
Going from free to a paid model is never easy and I’m not sure how will this work for ShoZu. As I find their app/service very useful, I can only recommend you to buy it and support their ongoing efforts to keep providing excellent service. Look for “shozu” in your phone’s app store and take it from there…
