
Earlier today RIM announced that the brand-new dual-mode BlackBerry Tour 9630 will be coming to us this summer on CDMA networks (Sprint, Verizon) in the US… and EDGE/GPRS/GSM networks around the world. While many Berry addicts are now licking their chops, it’s now ‘hurry up and wait’ time. To make you salivate just a bit more, here are some key specs and details on the Tour 9630:

- Full HTML browsing
- Access to BlackBerry App World (of course)
- Advanced media player for videos, pics and music
- 3.5 mm stereo headset jack
- 256MB flash memory
- Expandable memory up to 16B via microSD/SDHC memory card slot
- BlackBerry Media Sync (for use with iTunes and Windows Media Player)
- Edit Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files on the device
- Removable and rechargeable 1400 mAhr battery for 5 hrs talk time and 14 days of standby
