José Montilla, President of la Generalitat de Catalunya to open HiT Barcelona – World Innovation Summit on June 17th

Later today I’ll be in Barcelona to attend and cover three events. The first one is HiT Barcelona – World Innovation Summit which will be officially opened on June 17th by José Montilla, President of la Generalitat de Catalunya.
The opening ceremony starts at 9:45 am at the Palau de Congresos located at Fira de Barcelona — the same venue where Mobile World Congress took place in February.
Some of the leading speakers will be:
- Jordi Hereu, Mayor of Barcelona
- Juan Tomás Hernani, Secretary General of Innovation, Ministry of Science and Innovation
- Antoni Castells, Economy Minister
- Marina Geli, Health Minister
- Josep Huguet, Innovation Minister, University and Business
- Miquel Valls, President of the Barcelona Chamber of Commerce
- Josep Lluís Bonet, President of Fira de Barcelona
