While there are still people queueing up for the iPhone 3G S, I’m going to start speculating about the next iPhone. Thanks to Rapid Repair, we know the processor inside the 3G S is the Samsung S5PC100. A quick Google search turns up that processor’s brochure [PDF link]. Features include:
- Operates up to 833MHz
- 720p multiformat codec (MFC) video engine which ensures smooth 30fps video encoding and playblack
- Supports three types of TV out interface (NTSC/PAL/HDMI)
When all is said and done, speculation about a device a year off aside, I just want to hear what’s up with Steve. Is he OK? Seriously 🙁
