PwnageTool 3.0 Easter Egg – Free ringtone!

Mid-Summer be damned. Easter has come again this year. Thanks to our iPhone-hacking friends on the iPhone Dev Team, the new iPhone OS 3.0 jailbreak software, known as PwnageTool 3.0, contains a hidden “Easter egg” (hidden software feature). PwnageTool 3.0 doesn’t just jailbreak your iPhone or iPhone 3G (iPhone 3G S owners, sorry, you’ll have to keep waiting), it’ll also give you a custom ringtone for your newly jailbroken iPhone.

The Dev Team posted a line on Twitter yesterday with instructions on how to unlock the free ringtone. Apparently, setting your partition size to some “demonic” value (we’d suggest 1TB) will give you access to the ringtone. Props to @StephenFry for the ringtone!
