To those who were expecting information on specific devices, that was not the intent of the conference. The mere announcement of the collaboration is significant in itself in that it conveyed the commitment for joint development and for Intel’s inclusion into Nokia’s future devices. To expect any details on specific devices at this stage, would be mistakenly presumptuous on your part and irresponsible on the part of Nokia and Intel to provide such prior to imminent product launch.

Slight clarification to avoid misunderpretation of “… We’re going to align our investments so we don’t fund competing projects.”

Maemo and Moblin will continue exists as separate software platforms, but Nokia will align more on what is beneath the UI.

Kai’s corporate propaganda in finglish makes me wanna cut off my ears with a rusty knife. Anand’s Intel fluff with heavy indo-american accent is slightly less suicide inducing. At least the crappy netcast sound quality makes it all even more horrible.
