Nintendo DS and PlayStation Emulators Run on iPhone 3GS

Why have outside servers handle your gaming graphics when the iPhone 3GS’s 600 MHz OpenGL-enabled processor can do the job just fine? To prove it, here’s one of two demo videos showing off Pokemon and Final Fantasy VII running hunky-dory on the iPhone 3GS through beta emulators. psx4iphone will cost you $10 to try out and test, while gpSPhone for the DS is still under heavy development pending a jailbreak. The iPhone’s no stranger to emulators, but the latest hardware upgrades will surely allow folks to enjoy slightly newer consoles on mobile.
