At the same time, I am very happy to see the pre taking off. Maybe finally the US can compete with the rest of the world when it comes to advance handsets. Like the iPhone, it is a shame that the pre is tied to a specific carrier. Maybe one day consumers will have more freedom. As an iPhone user (who is posting this from an iPhone), I love my iPhone.
