A little over 3 weeks ago, Samsung announced their first 12 megapixel camera, the Pixon 12. Dusan blogged all about it, but a quick recap: it has a dumb phone OS built by Samsung, both a Xenon and LED flash, 28 mm wide angle lens, does 30 fps video at 720 x 480 pixels, WiFi, GPS and a 3.1 inch OLED screen. Today it’s been revealed that the device will launch in Spain in late August for €639 (890 American Dollars or 550 British Pounds). Samsung originally said this beast was supposed to come out in June, but they messed up apparently.

This concludes our news broadcast for those of you seeking to increase the size of your internet penis by buying a camera with more megapixels than anything else currently on the market. Good Night, and Good Luck.

The Pixon 12 looks great. Does anybody knows how the divx reproduction looks like? Can the Pixon 12 really be used for watching movies?
