Harris Interactive interviewed 655 teenagers in the USA between the ages of 13 to 18 and asked them if they sent “sexually suggestive, nude or nearly nude photos” via MMS or email. The answer doesn’t come as a surprise, 1 in 5 said yes. I think that is quite low actually. If I think of my last 5 girlfriends, I would say 4 in 5 is more accurate figure. Granted I’m not a teenager, and only 1 of my previous 5 girlfriends was/is a teenager, but I still smell lies. With all the news of teenagers being put in jail for sending pictures of their privates to their lovers, who in turn forward it to the entire graduating class of some hick High School in the mid west, why on Earth would you admit to doing such a thing to a stranger? The survey goes on to say 11% sent naughty pictures to strangers, and 80% of the people who did send pictures were under 18.

This quote says it all really: “Although teens say they recognize the dangers of sharing personal information online, they do it anyway.” When you’re a teenager and something as simple as a warm summer breeze has enough seductive power to give you an erection, you’re going to do anything to get off, regardless of the law.
