T-Mobile U.S. just announced a cool new program that doles out coupons to ecologically-friendly shops via a mobile application called Green Perks. Some of their launch partners include Method, Jamba Juice, Volcom, Roxy and Quiksilver, with more doubtlessly on the way. Anyone with a data plan is eligible to download the app, although for the G1, you’ll have to make sure you allow non-Market applications to be installed in order to get Green Perks. Green Perks falls under T-Mobile’s larger Mobilize program, where they promote eco-friendly mobile choices, like their paperless Green Account, and the recycled Motorola Renew. To get in on Green Perks, hit up their download page.
