LG GD910 watch-phone to cost £1000? Surely not….!

We’ve been reporting on a likely watch phone for some time now, but it would seem that the LG variant could be first to surface in the UK…
TechRadar has picked up a report from T3.com – and they have been told that Orange are confirming the watch/phone for August. To give it its proper monicker, it’s the GD910 – packing 3G, and supposedly also Bluetooth, speaker, touch-interface, and …. a web browser…?! The device is apparently going to come on PAYG as a SIM-Free device, weighing in at… wait for it…. £1000! What is it with devices costing £1K recently…?
I already had a mini-tirade at the fact that the iPhone 3GS is selling at £899 SIM-free, but the watch/phone takes the biscuit – and that is one very expensive biscuit!
