fp 2 Rock Ridge Games announces First Pitch Baseball on the iPhone

Rock Ridge Games has announced that its first title, First Pitch Baseball, is now available in the Apple (NSDQ: AAPL) App Store. In First Pitch Baseball, players find themselves alone on the mound, “dealing with the exhilarating anxiety of throwing the first pitch in a stadium full of screaming fans.” Yikes!

In a simplistically addictive challenge, First Pitch Baseball requires sharp eyes and quick fingers to throw accurate pitches and impress the crowd. Just tap on the screen to put the First Pitch target in motion, and tap again when the ball is over the catcher’s mitt to throw a strike. It’s easy for anyone to pick up and play and a perfect way to pass the time during the stadium commute, pre-game downtime, or all the commercial breaks between innings.

First Pitch Baseball is now available at the Apple App Store for an introductory price of $0.99/£0.59, through the All-Star Weekend. There will also be game updates, including tools to track your perfect pitches and longest streak.
