Video: LG BL40, the next Chocolate, actually looks like a candy bar with a super wide 4 inch screen

Last week LG launched some teaser pictures of the new Chocolate and said it would be launched in August. Yesterday a video leaked on to the internet that shows off the device in much greater detail. Think of this PR mishap as a blessing in disguise. The new dumbfone has WiFi, HSPA, GPS, everything you would expect a top end smartphone to have, but the screen is where things start to get wacky. At 4 inches across, 800 x 345 pixels, it’s bloody huge, and the 21:9 aspect ratio leaves us with more questions than answers. It looks like a Hershey’s bar, and that’s about all we know thus far:
