Google (NSDQ: GOOG) threw us a bit of a curveball with their Chrome OS announcement, and while not unwelcome, it certainly has mobile developers wondering where they stand with Android and any plans for netbook apps. Jeff Haynies heads up a company called Appcelerator which works on porting web apps between browser, Android and iPhone – we tap his experiences with web-based software for his opinions on Chrome OS and what it means for Android and developers.
